Category 5e cable, commonly referred to as CAT 5e is a standardized cable for providing performance of up to 100 MHz of bandwidth and is suitable for 10BASE-T (Ethernet), 100BASE-TX (Fast Ethernet), and 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet). Category 5e cable is also used for telephony and Video.
